This 100% Pure Canadian Beeswax from Canadian Hive smells wonderful. I opened the package and even a 3 year old noted how much it smelled like honey.I am an encaustic artist and have worked with real beeswax for 15 years. It is very important for what I am doing that there are no additives and that it is actually real beeswax and not something else. This one is the real deal.The bag is resealable, sturdy, and good quality.While the beeswax is pure and natural, I find it to be too expensive.

Very happy with this purchase. The package contains exactly what it is advertised to have. Natural beeswax chunks, no added scents or perfumes. I used this for candle-making, so I did break up the chunks into smaller pieces for easier melting, but other than that it's perfect. I would feel safe using this for cosmetics like the product page says, I just don't have experience doing that yet!

I ordered this pure beeswax to use for burnishing leather edges for my handmade products, and this works amazingly well!I have only used refined beeswax in the past, so I had no idea what to expect from 100% pure beeswax in general.These wax chunks have a very fragrant floral scent, which makes sense given that it is unprocessed.They are sticky to the touch (though I've read that's to be expected), and melt very well under heat.When compared to the refined beeswax I typically buy, this pack of wax chunks is a great value! I highly recommend this for anyone who needs 100% pure, unrefined beeswax.

Arrived on time and looks and smells great. Haven't used it yet but once I use it will add to this review.Update. I made my first salve/lip balm and love it. I used a bit too much of the beeswax but I don't mind it because my salve will last longer since I won't apply more then needed because of its consistency. The lip balm also lasts a lot longer on my lips and it restored them after being affected by this weather. Will purchase again soon!

Excellent quality beeswax. Great for candle making! I am using this for tea lights that I am making and the wax melts beautifully and forms up nicely. Smells amazing, not like cheap plastic that you get with so many other brands. This is genuine beeswax!100% will buy again!!

It's exactly what I was looking for, it smells like natural beeswax, the nose knows.

I ordered this all natural cosmetic grades pure bees wax made from local Canadian farmer because I need it for lip balm making. After I received it, everything turns out great just as how I expected - ultra high quality, nice natural yellowish chunks that easy to melt and use~ :)The package I ordered is the smaller size 120g one, which came in a package about my hand's size. The bees wax are all in forms of broken chunks, with a nice dark yellowish colour (just like honey...looking yummy!). The quality of these bees wax is amazing and the smell is beautiful - mildly sweet, soothing honey smells... not overpowering at all. I took a small chunk for making beeswax lip balm, turns out great. Compares to those pellet nibs bees wax I used before, I do highly prefer this one overall because it looks most real and natural to me.I love it and I do highly recommend this all natural bees wax from Canadian farmer to everyone!

I made small batch candles, lip balm, and a board butter for cutting boards as a test. These chunks melt cleanly, set with a soft honey scent, and blend easily with shea or cocoa butter. Color is natural yellow, no odd chemical notes, and the pieces are a good size for a double boiler. For a craft pantry this feels like the real thing. A couple of wishes: include melt point and filtration notes on the label. As a Canadian sourced ingredient it hits the quality mark for me.

I purchased the 100% pure Canadian beeswax from Canadian Hive and it is the real deal. The color is natural yellow like honey, the chunks are a good size for melting, and the smell is that of honey wax but not overpowering. It is perfect for making my cosmetics and candles. Previously, I purchased "natural beeswax" in the little pellets from a different company but they smelled like processed chemical and looked like color was added. Yuk!I would give Canadian Hive 10 stars if I could!
