Canadian Hive offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”).

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose and must comply with all applicable laws.

Violation of these Terms may result in immediate termination of service.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.

Payment information is always encrypted during transfer.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell or exploit any portion of the Service without written permission.

5. PRODUCTS

Our products are handmade in small batches using natural beeswax.

Natural variations in color, scent, and texture are normal and do not constitute defects.

We make every effort to display product images accurately, but colors may vary depending on screens.

We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse orders.

6. SHIPPING

Shipping times are estimates only.

Canadian Hive is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or events beyond our control.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the package is handed to the carrier.

Customers are responsible for providing a correct and secure delivery address.

Packages marked as delivered by the carrier are considered received.

7. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Due to the hygienic and handmade nature of our products, used or opened items cannot be returned.

Returns are accepted only for unused items within 14 days of delivery.

Customers must contact us before returning any product.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the error is ours.

Damaged items must be reported within 48 hours with photos.

8. BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel suspicious or fraudulent orders.

You agree to provide accurate and current purchase information.

9. USER COMMENTS

Any feedback or suggestions submitted may be used by Canadian Hive without compensation.

11. ERRORS

We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions at any time, including after an order is placed.

Candles must be used according to standard fire safety rules:

• never leave unattended

• keep away from children and pets

• burn on heat-resistant surfaces

• keep away from flammable objects

Canadian Hive is not liable for damages caused by improper use.

14. PAYMENT DISPUTES

Before initiating any chargeback, the customer agrees to contact Canadian Hive to seek a resolution.

Fraudulent or abusive disputes may be challenged with proof of delivery and acceptance of these Terms.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Products and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

16. TERMINATION

We may terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Québec and Canada.
