Amazing non toxic swap from regular tea lights!

I have recently started slowly swapping over to beeswax candles so I was very excited to try these! First of all, they smell absolutely amazing which I was surprised by. I wasn’t expecting much of a fragrance from them (they are pure beeswax!) but they are very sweet smelling.I burned a whole candle for Science to see the length of time you can get out of one, and to my surprise it was just over 3hr as mentioned in description! The lovely beeswax fragrance stayed consistent the whole time unlike regular paraffin tea lights, I find they start to smell like straight wax/burning wick after a few burns.Considering these are completely handmade, I personally find $2/candle more than fair, plus they are completely non toxic and can actually help air quality when burned enough! I also love that I am supporting a small Canadian business using these. Definitely would recommend, even for decoration these tea lights are beautiful and burn amazing!

A Rare Candle Win for Someone Sensitive to Scents

I rarely burn candles anymore because most of them trigger migraines for me, so it’s usually just not worth the risk. I received these Canadian beeswax tea light candles through the Amazon Vine program and decided to give them a try, especially since it’s Christmas and I like using my decorative candle holders during the holidays.I’m very pleasantly surprised. These candles have a beautiful, warm colour and burn completely fragrance-free. There’s no scent from the wax, no noticeable smell from the wick, and no smoke while burning. Most importantly for me, there was no noticeable impact on air quality and no headache afterward. The fact that they’re made in Canada is a big bonus and makes me feel even better about the purchase. If you’re sensitive to scented candles or just want a clean-burning, natural option for tea lights, these are an excellent choice.

Nice burn time for pure beeswax, with recyclable metal holders

The media could not be loaded.

This is a convenient 10 pack of pure Canadian beeswax tealights, each coming in its own recycled metal holder of an appropriate tealight size. The wax does seem to be pure, and has a consistent melt while being heated with no odor. The cotton wicks are all sufficient in size and light very easily and are able to be put out just as easy. The cotton wicks do give off a very light hint of smoke after extinguishing the flame, that is noticeable for a short moment. So some may not appreciate that, but it dissipates quickly. I had two that burned for a little over 3 hours, so they are as advertised with their 3 hour burn time. I am pleased with the quality of these tealights from the pure Canadian beeswax to the cotton wicks they are safe and natural for use. Its great that they come in the recycled metal holders, allowing me to recycle them once again. For anyone interested in pure natural beeswax tealights, these are them.

Amazing product! Long lasting tea lights plus they're made in none other than Canada!

An absolutely amazing tea light! These Beeswax Tea light candles arrive in a package of 10. They don't give off any harsh smells or perfumy type of scents, which is absolutely amazing in my book considering most candles give me an instant migraine.I placed three tea lights in 3 of my Christmas Candle holders last night and they lasted much, much longer than 3 hours. I'm not 100% on the exact timing but it was closer to 4 hours!I love the fact that these tea lights are not only made using something sustainable like beeswax, but the fact that they're made in Canada is a massive plus in my book!I would recommend (and absolutely do) recommend these tea lights to anyone who's sick and tired of those tea light candles that burn for no longer than 30 minutes! An easy 5-out-of-5 star product!

The Gold Standard of Candles – Clean Burning and Naturally Sweet

I have recently switched almost exclusively to beeswax candles, and this set from Canadian Hive is a perfect example of why that switch is worth it. While they are pricier than the cheap paraffin bags you buy at big box stores, the quality difference is night and day.Why These Are Superior:Air Quality: Unlike paraffin (which is a petroleum byproduct) that can release soot and toxins, these burn incredibly cleanly. I love that beeswax naturally releases negative ions which help neutralize dust and allergens in the air—it actually makes the room feel "cleaner" rather than stuffy. The Scent: These have that distinct, subtle natural honey aroma. It’s not an overpowering, headache-inducing artificial perfume; it’s just the gentle, warm smell of the hive.Burn Time: Because beeswax has a higher melting point and is denser than soy or paraffin, these little tealights last a surprisingly long time. I consistently get the advertised 3+ hours out of them with a steady, bright flame.Local Touch: It’s a nice bonus that these are handmade in Quebec using Canadian beeswax. You can feel the quality in the hand—they feel dense and substantial.Verdict:If you care about indoor air quality or are sensitive to artificial fragrances, these are the best upgrade you can make for your home ambiance. They burn clean, smell great, and support Canadian beekeepers.

Natural beeswax

These tealights burn cleanly with a subtle natural scent of beeswax. The cotton wicks provide steady flames. Each candle lasts close to the advertised burn time, an hour or so. The recycled metal cups feel sturdy, and they fit well in the candle holders. They are the same size as standard tealights. Overall, they’re a high-quality natural candle option. I love them.

Elevated Tealight Experience

These are excellent tealights! Great for those who value natural products, nontoxic home environments, and creating cozy environments. The natural warm honey colour is much more elegant than the typical white ones. And the warm honey scent is subtle and inviting. Inhale the scent before lighting. These are completely natural so, unlike fragranced candles, they are much more mild and will not “fill a room” with scent, but they will also not fill your room with chemicals!I just light one at a time when winding down for the evening and it’s great peace of mind…a little moment of luxury. Nowadays, heavily fragranced candles can go for $100! This is a different peace of mind, using a natural product that is good for your health.I typically trim the wick down, and they burn cleanly and evenly.5 stars = Love it/Would Repurchase

Nothing better than beeswax candles . Aspect.

Comparable price to local store .The smell is sad, but nice. They burn very clean and they burn for a decent amount of time. I would buy them again nice to not have candles that are bringing chemicals into your house.

Emergency Kit with a Cozy Backup Plan

These little beeswax tealights are going straight into the emergency kit, but they feel a lot nicer than the usual utilitarian candles. The natural honey-gold color and soft beeswax scent make them just as suited for a quiet evening or meditation session as they are for a power outage. They’re small, but each one burns long and clean for its size, without the sooty residue or heavy perfume you get from cheap paraffin tealights. The cotton wicks light easily, and the recycled metal cups feel sturdy enough to stand up to being packed and unpacked with the rest of the gear. It’s also a bonus that they’re made from pure Canadian beeswax and support local beekeeping—fits nicely with the idea of being prepared and a bit more self-reliant. For an emergency stash that also feels comforting, these are a great fit.

Clean-Burning, Natural Beeswax Tealights – Simple and Well Made

These pure beeswax tealight candles are a lovely natural alternative to standard paraffin candles. They burn cleanly with a soft, warm glow and have a subtle natural beeswax scent that isn’t overpowering or artificial. The cotton wicks light easily and burn evenly. Each tealight lasts close to the advertised three hours, making them great for dinners, relaxing evenings, or short events without needing frequent replacement. I also like that they’re poured into recycled metal cups, which feels like a more eco-conscious choice. The candles feel well made and consistent in quality, with no excessive smoke or soot during use. They’re simple, functional, and do exactly what you’d expect from beeswax tealights.Overall, these are a great choice if you’re looking for natural, Canadian-made candles with a clean burn and minimal ingredients. Perfect for everyday use or special occasions.

Pricey but burn well

For the price you can get a lot of regular white tea lights. But, these burn better, and burn cleanly. They advertise a three hour burn time. I’ve used two and they both burned for about two hours so far, and they are not even halfway down. Recommended, but they are pricey for tea lights.

Beeswax tealight candles

These Canadian made beeswax tealight candles are lovely. They come in a 10 pack, with cotton wicks, and boasts a 3 hour burn time which I found to be pretty accurate. These are votive candles in a recycled metal cup, so melting is contained. The ad states these are handmade and they definitely give that feel. They have that natural beeswax scent, free from fragrances and chemicals, which I really appreciate. These are great for a relaxing soak in the tub, or to create a nice ambiance for a quiet evening. Or even just in case of power outages.

High Quality + Beautiful +. Heavenly Scented Tealights

This is the 4th Canadian Hive product I have had the pleasure of enjoying and they're just as lovely as the tapers, the votives and the plastic base tealights. All of their products are thoughtfully packaged and arrive with a sweet little thank you note from the makers (and the bees!)~ Foremost - they smell incredible - as soon as you open the bag you're met with that sweet, luscious beeswax aroma - which is just intoxicating. The wax is made by Quebec bees who collect wildflower nectar and i swear you can smell the flowers in these ~ just absolutely heavenly scent.I try and only burn beeswax candles given that they are natural and have therapeutic properties ( due to their release of negative ions - which, in effect, cleanse indoor air by neutralizing pollutants, allergens, and airborne toxins..)Most candles are filled with icky synthetic fragrance - so for scent-sensitive individuals - these are a preferred choice. One of the best parts about beeswax is that warm glow when you burn them - even just one candle shifts the vibe of my space to create a cozier ambience. In my experience high quality beeswax candles burn for a very, very long time - these tealights burned for about 3.5 hours in my slightly breezy space - which is a pretty decent burn time.*Hot tip: if you want your tealights to burn longer put them in the fridge or freezer - it extends their burn time quite a bit!Comparatively speaking:I have also tried Canadian Hive's other tealights which come in a plastic base and are slightly larger looking - they burned longer overall, but if I had to choose between the two I would go with these which have a recycled metal / aluminum base. There's no need to add more plastic to our environment. It should maybe be mentioned as well that online markets are now full of 'fake' beeswax (which is essentially a petroleum-derived wax that is meant to mimic the properties of natural, real beeswax ) - so if that's something you're concerned about - these are absolutely *not that* - they're the real deal. Top quality beeswax candles. Consistently good with every product i've tried. What I love the most is that you can tell these were made by hand, by people who hold reverence for the bees who create the wax. You can really feel that in the end product and in my opinion this makes such a difference in quality.Another excellent product - 5 stars.

Elegant looking alternative to white tea candles.

I never liked tea candles, since I always found that they looked cheap, and after a bit of burning, they had ugly black residue in the wax. These are much nicer. It's a bit silly, since they are still simple tea candles, but they seem to burn more nicely, without as much smoke, and dont leave that black residue in the melt. The colour of the wax is very natural and prettier for table settings. I put a small tea candle in a large glass cube holder, and the colour of the wax just gave it a much more elegant feel.Overall, this is a very nice pack of tea candles. Are they worth $22? Probably not. But if you want a nicer alternative to the white ones, these are a good option. They seem to last longer as well. But I will have to buy some cheap white ones and do a burn test. I will report back if I get around to doing this.

Basic Beeswax Candles

This review is part of the Amazon Vine Review Program, but I aim to be honest and unbiased. I don’t get paid, I review as a hobby. These are simple beeswax tealight candles that do what they are supposed to do. They light easily, burn steadily, and give off a mild natural beeswax smell without being strong or perfumed. I did not notice any obvious smoke or soot while using them, and the burn time felt reasonable for a standard tealight. They fit normal tealight holders without any issues. There is nothing fancy here, which is fine. They are just basic, functional candles made from beeswax and they work as intended. If you are looking for something unscented or very subtle, these are fine, but do not expect anything special beyond that. They feel practical and straightforward, and that is really the whole point of them, even if they are a bit plain compared to decorative options.
